Allen Collar & Dumbbell Bar Set

COL2
Set of 4 Standard Size black oxide Allen Type Dumbbell Constrictor Collars with a pair of Standar Size Chrome Dumbbell Bars.

These collars do NOT have a set screw that will dig into and mar your bars.

Allen Collars are also perfect for creating semi-permanent dumbbells or kettlebells, with your Adjustable Kettlebell Handles. These are the parts used for the Classroom Kettlebells. We use the Allen Collars, instead of the red wrenchless screw collars because there is nothing to catch on your clothes and accidently loosen the weights!

We love these collars as spacers for widening the foot space between the plates on Iron Boots, as well as setting up your own thick handled Fat Dumbbells. I love these for turning my Kettlebell Handles into Farmers Walk Units. Come up with your own uses, these are extremely durable, tight holding and small.

Example Project: Stone Rotating Thick Handled Dumbbell

This project was a long time coming. At about 75 pounds, this dumbbell is made of several "standard" Atomic Athletic parts, including the following: two 30 pound Atomic Balls with drilled holes, Brass Rotating Thick Handle Adapter , Allen Collars, Classic Red Wrenchless Screw Collars and a piece of 1" dia. steel. This set includes only: 4 Allen Type Collars that fit 1 inch diameter bars & 2 Chromed Dumbbell Bars.

    Customer Reviews

    Roger,

I just got my Brass Thick Dumbbell Adapter in this evening (thanks for the expedient delivery.) This is an awesome piece of professionally tooled brass, and the knurling is second to none! Teamed up with the Long Dumbbell Bar and Allen Collars it is going to be an indispensable part of my regime. The 2" thick adapter lets me get enough weight on the bar to work my grip and lower arms and still provide a solid challenge for the rest of my body! All I can say is thank you for the awesome craftsmanship (nothing beats US machined metal!) and excellent service; oh, and I'll be back for another for the other hand as soon as I can!

    Sincerely,

    Franklin Rymon
