Stone Padlocks

 East meets West:

Two strength traditions meet at

Atomic Athletic

Over fifteen hundred years ago, the Monks of the Shaolin Temple developed a set of training tools that allowed them to become some of the fiercest martial artists ever known. They were carved from granite or green stone and resembled a traditional Chinese padlock, hence they became known as stone locks.

Some time later, on the other side of the world, an unknown circus strongman got the idea to take a couple scale weights and perform amazing strength feats with them.

Before there were kettlebells, there were stone locks and blockweights. Whether your interest is martial arts or classical feats of strength, these implements will get you where want to go.
