The calibrated bumper plates are all accurate to exacting IWF specifications. They are a double sided plate with the milling done on an inside rim. Yes, that is real chrome you see on the metal with color tinted rubber. The IWF colors are not painted on, so there will be no peeling paint or tape. The inside holes are drilled and chamfered, for a smooth fit on your bar. The rubber actually wraps around the rim of the plate, so when you have multiple bumpers on the bar, you will have rubber touching rubber, for a quiter, more solid feel. Colored rubber is a great idea for coaching. Many school age lifters do not understand what a kilogram is, so color coded weights make the coach's job much easier.
