Dumbbell Bars with Collars for Iron Boots & Kettlebell Handles
These are not your run of the mill dumbbell bars from the sporting goods store!
Check out those dumbbell bars at the local Chinese import sporting goods store and you will see that they all have welded on, also called fixed, inside collars for the plates to slide up against. THESE BARS DON'T HAVE THAT WELDED ON COLLAR!
Welded on collars prevent you from using our Iron Boots and Kettlebell Handles. We did NOT come up with this idea. In the old days, there was no such thing as a welded on inside collar for dumbbell handles. That is a modern concept designed to make you purchase more expensive items, like leg machines, instead of a good pair of Iron Boots!
These bars work on every pair of antique iron boots we have seen, as well as the antique York and Weider Kettlebell Handles. Trust me, I have seen a lot of iron boot designs. Go ahead and buy your pair from eBay. Then get the rest of the parts from Atomic Athletic!
