International Shipping

Atomic Athletic does ship outside the USA, as well as to US Territories, AK and HI. The key here is that the web site will not compute the shipping costs, we have to do each order individually.
We are lucky enough to have a President who worked as the Export Sales Manager for the York Barbell Company, prior to starting Atomic Athletic. International shipping rules are constantly in flux, especially after the 9/11 disaster. While the rules for every country are also somewhat different, unless there is a ban on shipments to your country, we can probably get you the order you want.
We have been doing this for many years, to select individuals. Now that we have worked out many of the bugs, we are opening this opportunity up to you.

That being said, there are some basic guidlines to getting your quote and making your order, which CAN be done on-line, without a single telephone call!
1. Put together the list of items you are interested in purchasing. It will have to be sent to roger@atomicathletic.com for the freight quote. Please send ONLY SERIOUS Inquiries.
2. As part of your e-mail, you must include the name and quantity of each item, as well as your full delivery address, telephone number and any other pertinent contact information. Please let us know if you have recieved similar shipments from the United States in the past.
Tips:
Your freight costst will typically go down if:
a. you have a genuine business address;
b. you can unload your larger items at a loading dock, or with a fork lift;
c. if you are planning on multiple shipments, try to include similar size and types of items in each shipment. If you are ordering something large, like a power rack, adding in some small dense items like weight plates will not usually add much to your freight costs, if anything.
d. until we have experience with you, we put pretty low limits on the amount you can spend with a credit card. However, we will accept money orders, Money Grams and wire transfers.
3. TAXES, Duties and other fees
With International Orders, Atomic Athletic does not accept returned merchandise, your taxes, duties or other fees. Most countries have a VAT (Value Added Tax) or equivalent. These are your responsibility. Sometimes we can find out ahead of time what these are, but sometimes we cannot. Some countries charge as much as 24% on the value of the goods. We will do our best to find out about all charges ahead of time, but we can only do so much.
EXAMPLES
We can ship 3 DVDs like: Tendon & Ligament Strength Training, the National Basque Festival and Classic Core Training to Great Britain for only $10.
We can ship a standard power rack to Great Britain for approximately $1500 Dollars. We are working on a modified version of our Advanced Power Rack that could ship via air freight for only $1000 dollars!
While we were able to ship a 10 Kg Iron Padlock to Italy for roughly $100 dollars, the estimated delivery time of 8-10 days was actually about 2 months. This was highly unusual. As I now understand it, that is not unusual for Italy. Live and learn. Most countries, especially Australia and European countries, are far, far better than that.
